Alps Retreats create breathing space for busy minds. Based in the peaceful and inspiring environment of the French Alps, they give you time to step back, take stock and assess your life.

A holiday can refresh you, but our mindfulness-based retreats will renew you. We have created a safe, comfortable, nurturing experience to help you escape daily demands and distractions, and bring more meaning and wellbeing to your everyday life.

Our pragmatic and accessible approach will help you gain clarity and reconnect with what really matters to you. Whatever challenges you are facing, new ideas and creative solutions will emerge. You will leave relaxed and re-energised, with tools and techniques to help you move forward.

Previous participants have gone on to make lasting changes in their health, career and lifestyle – reducing stress, improving eating habits, practising better self-care, experiencing deeper, more connected relationships and avoiding burnout.

Our Retreats

Alps Retreats are an opportunity to nurture and nourish mind, body and soul with excellent food, stunning scenery and the perfect balance of meditation, mindful silence, workshops, creative activities, Alpine hikes, a full-body massage and a luxury hot tub with mountain views. In small groups of no more than eight people, you’ll have plenty of time to relax, unwind and discover ways to bring mindful awareness to everything you do.

We run a regular programme of retreats between May and November. Prices start at 950€ per person for a shared room and include airport transfers from Geneva, all meals, training materials and activities as well as a preliminary Skype session, a 90-minute coaching session during the retreat and a follow-up session after one month.

We also design retreats at any time of the year to meet your specific needs. These are ideal for leadership development, corporate teams and purpose-driven entrepreneurs.

Ongoing coaching packages can be arranged for those who would like further accountability and support (to make deeper changes or achieve long-term goals).

Chalet and Location

Combining traditional Alpine charm with contemporary design, our luxury chalet Maison La Cerisaie is nestled in Sixt Fer à Cheval, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France. Surrounded by mountains and waterfalls in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is just 75 minutes from Geneva and within three hours travelling time of most UK airports.

The chalet’s spacious open-plan living area offers plenty of seating, a cosy woodburner and a large sociable dining area leading onto the garden terrace. The comfortable bedrooms all feature en-suite bathrooms with rain-effect showers and underfloor heating. Our retreat packages are fully inclusive and all meals are freshly prepared by our in-house chef.

Our Team

Alps Retreats was founded by executive coach Sally-Anne Airey and is based at her home and retreat centre, an 1830s renovated farmhouse in the French Alps.

Using a unique approach that integrates coaching with mindful awareness, the retreats teach tools and techniques that can transform the way you live and work.

Delivered by Sally-Anne and her team of experienced coaches and mindfulness practitioners, each retreat also has the support of a professional chef, mountain guide and massage therapist.
