Space to Breathe

Our retreats in the peaceful and inspiring French Alps create breathing space for busy minds. They enable you to step back, take stock and get clear on what really matters to you.

Alps Retreats founder Sally-Anne Airey shares more than 35 years’ experience as an executive and mindfulness coach and former Royal Navy Commander to help people develop clarity, resilience and presence. Her calm, pragmatic, accessible approach enables you to make the changes you want in your life and work.

In the beautifully serene surroundings of Alps Retreats, you will take time out from the stressors of everyday life to pause, reflect and recalibrate. And you will gain the clarity you need to meet the challenges you are facing. New ideas and creative solutions will emerge. You will leave relaxed and re-energised, with tools and techniques to help you move forward.

Our Retreats

We offer scheduled retreats throughout the year and others custom-made to specific requirements. Typical clients include individuals seeking personal or professional development, corporate leaders and teams and purpose-driven entrepreneurs. Longer-term coaching programmes are also available to build on retreat learning or develop leadership skills.

Our retreat centre is based in an 1830s renovated farmhouse in the French Alps. Our holistic approach nurtures you in mind, body and soul with the perfect balance of focused workshops, outdoor activity in stunning scenery, one-to-one coaching, mindful meditation and delicious food. You’ll also have time to relax and unwind in the luxury hot tub with its fabulous mountain views or enjoy a soothing massage. See the testimonials video from our October women-only Resilience retreat to get a taste of what you’ll experience:

All-inclusive prices start at 950€ per person for a shared room and include airport transfers from Geneva, meals freshly prepared by our in-house chef, workshop training materials and all activities as well as a preliminary Skype conversation, a 90-minute coaching session during the retreat and a follow-up call after a month.

My family has had the most amazing time at Maison La Cerisaie. It is a wonderful place to come as a family and just ‘be’. We simply unplugged from all the busy-ness of our everyday lives and did what we love to do – spending time together in outdoor activities (hiking, high ropes, white water rafting, cycling, swimming in the lake) and enjoying the calm and tranquility all around.
This was made even more pleasurable by the stunning scenery, immaculate chalet, exquisite food and Sally-Anne and Simon’s thoughtful input.
We would highly recommend the Unplugged in the Alps retreat to any family, with children of any age, to come and just ‘be’ together.
Amazing. Can’t recommend it highly enough. We will be back.

A holiday with your best friends is always going to be good, but staying with Sally Anne and Simon this week has been just lovely. As well as relaxing in the hot tub, we all pushed ourselves to try new things, from white water rafting to hiking to a mountain refuge.
We’ve had such a wonderful break and we all feel refreshed and ready for the change that is about to happen in our lives, something we owe to the environment created for us here.
As best friends for over a decade, we didn’t think it was possible for us to get closer. But the conversations which arise half way up a mountain where there’s no phone signal are so precious.
Thank you for helping us see our lives and our relationships through a new light.
